I had high hopes for this Shur-Line 7-inch paint pad, which features a plastic frame with a replaceable low-nap pad and a place for an extender. To be fair, it is described as an applicator, not a paint edger. But when I saw its large surface with clean, square edges, I thought it might be good for ceiling work. Unfortunately, it was not. When loaded with paint, the broad spongy surface was difficult to control.
