The watch is very good, in my opinion, the best of the 5600 line. Very good and safe platform for shopping with quality products from Japan! Casio G-Shock Square

I’ve heard complaints that the four buttons on the 5600 series are on the stiff side compared to other Squares. Personally, I don’t have an issue pushing buttons on this watch (nor on folks who engage in debate on the subject). Time correction is conducted by Bluetooth® communications in conjunction with standard time radio waves. Tough Solar power provides stable operation of multiple functions. The watch actually looks better than the pictures, with a nice glossy band. While I don’t live near the shore for the tides to be a big benefit, it’s still looks cool, and the moon phase feature is spot on. The watch sits nicely on the wrist and is very light. This one was made in Thailand.

Battery life: Solar rechargeable. 10 months (normal functions without exposure to light after a full charge). 26 months (when stored in the dark with the power save function). Almost all regular modules with time, calendar, alarm, timer, and stopwatch functions have been enhanced with a world time function also. While this is sufficient for most of us, it seems that there was a demand for additional functionality. Quite specific functionality, at that. This module adds tidal information and phases of the moon indication. Casio produced several modules providing this functionality; battery-operated modules, solar-powered modules, and even modules combined with Multi Band 6 time reception. Module 3215 seems the most sophisticated, it’s solar-powered and has Multi Band 6 reception. Phew, that was but a mouthful. In everyday use, all this functionality comes at a price though: a clunky and difficult user interface, and here are the main culprits. The functions you can operate and browse through using three of the four pushers – two on the left and the lower one on the right. While the pushers look nice and small, almost flush with the case, they are rather difficult to use. The MIP LCD is more than enough for data-heavy display with both numbers and graphics. Tide and moon data, the current time, various measurements and more are all displayed in high resolution. Excellent watch. I love the atomic time keeping, the tide feature is cool too. It is extremely durable and accurate.
