About this deal

A pacy and intense crime story that sees Private Detectives Tim and Nick Diamond attempt to solve the mystery of a Malteaser box delivered to them under suspicious circumstances.

The Falcon that Naples mentioned with his dying breath is the alias of the late Henry von Falkenberg, an English-German international criminal who had been living in La Paz, Bolivia, when the police last heard of him. The author builds bad tension in the book when a bomb is thrown into Nick Diamonds room and he almost dies, "The grenade hit the bed and bounced back toward the window. However, even if the readers don’t particularly enjoy this genre, I am almost certain that they will not be able to put this book down due to its amazing storyline. Nick realises it must be valuable and decides to do something useful with his Christmas holiday, like going skiing, though Tim breaks his leg before they get on the plane and the money is wasted on fixing the leg. The plot sees the Diamond Brothers Detective agency on a thrilling case to discover just what is so important about those titular Maltesers.

The Fat Man, Herbert says, is the biggest criminal in England, involved in almost any crime there is – armed robbery, arson, theft and armed burglary are some of the things Herbert lists. Seit ich Die "Malteser des Falken" zufällig in einer Buchhandlung in England entedeckt habe, liebe ich die Diamond Brothers Bücher von Anthony Horowitz. A film adaptation based on the first novel The Falcon's Malteser was released in 1988 and it was entitled Just Ask for Diamond.

But then the host is found dead, and other people start dying in bizarre ways with no way off the island. With this knowledge, Naples quit his job in Bolivia soon after the Falcon's death, and caught a flight to England. Schnelle Handlungen, Humor, sehr viel Wortwitz - den man am besten im englischen Original genießt, machen diese Bücher aus.You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. In the North American market, the film was instead released under the name Diamond's Edge, and was edited slightly to tone down some of the narration and violent antics of the UK release. The title relates to the book because the book is about the a box of Maltesers and the title is the falcon's malteser, "I doubt if you can fit five million dollars worth inside.

A plain-clothes police man, disguised as a drunk in the street, arrests them, and they are sent to Ladbroke Grove Police Station, where Herbert's old boss, Chief Inspector Snape, accompanied by his violent assistant Boyle, arrives to question them. Nick gives him the fake packet and follows the Professor halfway down the road, but then is intercepted and kidnapped by Gott and Himmell, the most dangerous criminals in pursuit of the Maltesers. Both McLinden and Dale reprised their respective film roles, which makes the television series act as a sequel to Just Ask for Diamond. THE FIRST REASON WHY I LIKE THIS BOOK IS BECAUSE BOUT A BOY NAME NICK FIGURING OUT A MYSTERY TO HELP HIS BIG BROTHER AND THE WHOLE POLICE DEPARTMENT.Snape – who could not stand Herbert during his service there – apparently forms a grudging respect for Nick when he realises how smart he is for his age. I have always enjoyed reading Anthony Horowitz books; therefore, I decided to read The Falcon’s Malteser, which is part of the Diamond Brothers series. I would recommend this book to anyone over the age of 10 because it is a very interesting plot, which is reasonably easy to understand, including some very dramatic and adventurous twists and turns.
